About the Wayton Open
The Wayton Open is the creation of Matthew Wayton. Matt organized a one day tennis tournament in 2007 as a way to bring together friends for a few games of tennis. As interest in the tournament grew, the annual community event expanded into a multiple-week tournament and became a popular summertime activity for residents state-wide.
Charitable Giving
The tournament has raised over $42,000 for One More Dog Rescue and other animal rescues since 2017! All proceeds benefit rescue dogs.
